What Are QC Photos and Why They're Critical

QC (Quality Control) photos are images taken by your shopping agent of the actual item received from the seller — before it's shipped to you. This is your only opportunity to inspect the product while it's still in China. Approving QC photos means you're satisfied with what you see and ready to ship. Rejecting them means you want a return, replacement, or refund. Getting good at reading QC photos is one of the most valuable skills in the W2C community.

Sneaker QC Checklist

For sneakers, these are the critical areas to examine in QC photos:

• Toe box shape — Compare the profile silhouette to official retail photos. Incorrect toe box shape is a major red flag.

• Sole unit — Check color accuracy, texture, and any visible glue overflow at the midsole/outsole junction.
